The mission of the Greenville Figure Skating Club is to promote the sport of figure skating in our community through various programs for skaters of all ages and levels. We strive to provide a safe and welcoming environment so that skaters can practice and advance in pursuit of their personal goals.

The Greenville FSC considers the Pavilion, at Greenville Recreation, our home rink, although we utilize area rinks and even coaches for special clinics or testing. Our coaches offer Free Skate, Choreography, Moves in the Field, Ice Dance, Edge Classes, Off Ice Classes, a performance Group (FLS Productions), Club Ice, Exhibitions, clinics, and seminars! We have young skaters through high school, collegiate skaters, adult skaters, and Junior Coaches. Many of our skaters are competitive and travel around the southeastern region to compete at all levels, however, our club does not expect all of our members to skate the competitive journey. We, along with your coaches, will help you find your personal journey in figure skating! #greenvillefsc #greenvilleskates

What’s it like to be a part of GFSC?

Being a member of the GFSC has its benefits! Our skaters have opportunities to be a part of at least two exhibitions per year at The Pavilion, our home rink! FLS Productions offers enrollment through our club. The FLS performance team seeks out opportunities for our skaters all around the area including Swamp Rabbits hockey games, Ice On Main (Greenville and Spartanburg), and the US Whitewater Center! Our skaters also receive a club shirt, a yearly subscription to Skating magazine, social events, and our annual awards banquet! We have a few different types of memberships to choose from, just check out our Membership tab above.

The Greenville Figure Skating Club is a thirty year old member of United States Figure Skating and currently has over 50 members.  GFSC exists to promote the mastery of figure skating and to support skaters in educational and competitive endeavors, and welcomes skaters of all levels.

Greenville FSC is a nonprofit corporation with federal 501 (c) (3) tax-exempt status. The GFSC Board meets on the third Wednesday (usually) of every month and the club hosts ice several times a year. At least one exhibition is held each year on club ice, as well as our GFSC Christmas Show! GFSC hosts an annual Awards Banquet and various other social functions. The club also seeks to support skaters by providing educational opportunities like training seminars as resources permit.

Running the Club takes work from many volunteers. A volunteer committee checklist is included in the membership packet. If Greenville FSC is your home club, please check off the area(s) in which you would be willing to help.
